The glycerol is added to keep it from fully freezing. So just don’t buy kids the ones from machines. If it’s freshly blended then it should be fine aside from all the sugar lol

I got my 5 yr old a slushie making cup. can put any liquid in it and it makes it into a slushie. best thing ever.

So from what I found is that not all slushy carry any trace of glycerin(glycerol) most container only added sugars. The higher containing ones are the low sugar and sugar free slushy.
