it's screws their bones up racing so young sadly I use to ride an ex race horse and he would sometimes run with no breaks when riding he was a good boy most the time though

We have an OTTB who only raced 4 times and won a total of $438. He’s 22 now and has been with us almost 6 years. The best horse EVER! He’s pretty much a therapy horse!

we've never had horses in our stables that have had issues because of 'shooting out the gates' yes there are a few idiots that give racing a bad name but most racing stables treat the horses amazing
