@soheefit: Intuitive eating can in fact work for athletes. Please make sure you are eating when needed, not only when you are physically hungry! #IntuitiveEating #GentleNutrition
+hunger cues are more the hunger you feel in your stomach. for example, I know I need a snack or a meal because I begin to feel weak or start thinking about food too much.

Genuine question, how is it intuitive if it’s relying on learned knowledge from what my body needs rather than from cravings/hunger cues? 😯

Waiting til I'm hungry is disastrous. Then, it's "no cook, only eat" - assuming I can decide, but my brain often won't allow me to. So I'm probably ordering out at this point.

“Here’s how you run a marathon: Step 1 - You start running. There is no step two.” - Barney Jokes aside, I DID do that for my only marathon. And I 100% DO NOT recommend it. Pain & high risk of injury.
