Here are some photographs you may not have seen of Erik Menendez playing tennis. Erik Menendez was extremely talented with playing tennis and he was ranking No. 44 among 18 and under players in the US nation, and No. 7 in Southern California rankings. His father put tremendous pressure on him to succeed in athletics academics and everything else, a quote from a swim teacher said “it seems like Jose was competitive. He was doing everything he could to try and make Erik better” Jose would drill and grill both of his sons Erik and Lyle to play well and he would get them to train till they were exhausted and drained. They would be up from 5 o’clock in the morning playing tennis for hours and then having to go to school and then once they finish school, they go back on the tennis court for more hours of drilling and grilling with their father being very obedient and watching them closely. There was a lot of pressure on the brothers, especially on Erik as if he lost a tennis match or played poorly and was not up to Jose’s standard he would be severely punished by many ways so Erik did all he could to make sure he won his games and played well. Lyle was also punished if didn’t play sports well or up to Jose’s standards. About two weeks before the crime the brothers committed Erik and his friend Michael Joyce entered the 1989 boys junior national tennis championship he won his first round match and won the match easily by score of 6-1. Erik Menendez was noted for being one of the best tennis players in the USA. He was at being top 50 in the US and was just top 100 in Texas. #freethemenendezbrothers #justiceforthemenendezbrothers #menendezbrothers #foryoupage #foryou #erikmenendez #lylemenendez #menendez #victim #justice #freedom #truecrime #menendezjustice #fyp #fy #ryanmurphy #monsters #courttv #tennis
