I have GERD and just got a endoscopy to check the severity of it and they said there isn’t any inflammation. I’m so confused because I get it SO BAD. Why would that be?

WHAT? So acid reflux causes heart palpitations which trigger anxiety attack which increases heart rate which I connect to the heart palpitations in the first place. This makes so much sense

Had a work up and indeed was having HP, cardiologist said it could be caused by the hiatal hernia pressing on the atrium. But still, it was indeed HP

This happens to me too sometimes followed by a burp. But with my hypochondria, this was so scary to me when it first started happening 😭

I've been diagnosed with GERD and often after I eat I start to feel sick and get palpitations. Then I have a sneezing fit, then lots of burping and then I feel okay again. it's super weird

I have throat tightness that my doctors say is from acid reflux and they reference the foreign body sensation but that’s not what I have. It feels like pressure from the outside of my throat.
