Michael's Dairy 629 Montauk Ave New London, CT Originally a milk processing business, Michael's Dairy began making and serving ice cream in the 050's when they realized people love ice cream! They were the last milk processing place in New London in the 1970's when they stopped to focus on ice cream. In 2006, Mitchell College acquired Michael's Dairy and now every scoop goes toward helping students pursue their dreams! This is a cute - and popular spot! They have tables set up outside and a nice big lawn people were enjoying as well. everything fresh - the cones, the ice cream and the cookies. Let's talk about the cookies - they easily could have weighed about a half pound each - they were heavy and large! She put the largest scoop of ice cream on it - it was hard to hold and also - hard to show you!!!! It was DELICIOUS!!!!!! What a treat!!!!
