From what I know gubbröra is just basically everything from the midsummer table mixed together. Sill, dill, eggs, shrimp, fish roe, etc. add just whatever = gubbröra

In Germany we have something very alike, it's called "Hausfrauen-Art" which means housewife-style. We also put parsely, garlic and onions in the sauce, but no potatoes :)
