it took 28 years of my life not knowing I had fibromyalgia and the family doctor finally said I have this but it's been 28 years I've been in pain because of the poor communication today with doctors.

I totally understand. My GP has limited knowledge in female issues. Kept telling me my bleeding fibroid were just my period and if I had a problem with it he advised complete hysterectomy.

My dr did not know what was wrong with me but the pharmacist did. My dr was glad to have a possible answer. Not all middle age male drs know all female issues.

Yes! I had a doctor and wanted to switch bc I was getting nowhere with my dr. My friend referred me to her doctor so I went for a “consultation” to see if I wanted to switch.
