This is why I tell my son, I won't answer the dr.'s questions. I'm only there to drive & pay bill 😂 He needs to communicate what's going on in his body. He is more vocal now.

That poor kid! I had ovarian torsion a few years ago and it was unequivocally the worst pain I've ever felt. Can't imagine a little kid dealing with that 😬

I have to make a conscious effort to be mindful of not answering for our son during his annual wellness checks. It is so hard but I have gotten much better.

My son was 14.walked in the door and dropped to his knees. Vomited. He told me the pain was intense. Took him to the ER and BOOM, he’s in surgery for torsion. Urologist said be proud my kid told me./1

abdominal pain in my 6 yr and immediately thought testicular torsion but no swelling but it was appendicitis and went straight to surgery asap but so important to be timely for testicular torsion.
