my mum reuses the oil at most 3 times before straining it into a different container and using it for regular cooking.

What do I do if there's just a tiny bit in the pan or left over fat from meat still in the pan. Like not enough to do either of those options but too much to mop up with a paper towel

I worked for a local bar and grill here in the states, we had an old bloke come by and buy our used oil from us. Turns out he turned an old Mercedes diesel into biofuel. Win win.

San Francisco has a cooking oil recycling program or we’re supposed to trash it in a closed container with an absorbent like paper or kitty litter. The oil clogs the city pipes.
