@compass.acres: Are you really from Upstate if you don’t have ADK chairs 😍 An ode to one of my favorite places on earth, the Adirondacks. Problem was, our old chairs were a liability! Some notes that weren’t shown in the video- Yes I sanded the faces of the panels and I used 220 grit I use oil based stain because I like how it soaks in the wood and fades over time. I find oil based stains don’t flake like water based stains We used poplar wood from my families shop. I like using poplar because it holds up and they aren’t so heavy in the end A shout out to my friend Dewitt for cutting out the pieces for me— I didn’t have time or the resources to do it at the moment, so I got by with a little help from a friend! These were a little tricky to put together, I didn’t have some help holding the panels in some parts.
