Grandparents houses don’t grandparent the way they used to. I remember mine had a pack n play, high chair, toys, etc. my parents have none of that 😢

I’m a Mimi of 4 and youngest 6 months. I have everything for the kiddos here. Clothes, diapers, pac n play, bouncy seat,and food. All they have to do is bring the kids🙂

I just can’t imagine. I’m the aunt without kids yet but I have a whole nursery, a play yard in my living room with toys, plates, bowls, silverware a pack and play, an outside play yard.

as grandparents we have it all here for them and only require the parents and the kids to come. it would even been a trip to the store for food needed as well🥰

I was so lucky when I had my oldest two my grandmas (both so my kids great grandmas) both kept a stock of everything needed at their homes.

I have a 12 year old granddaughter and a 3 year old grandson and I have EVERYTHING they need! I'm sorry you have to go thru all that.

My parents always make sure they have everything the kids need at their house so we don’t have to do this. They even keep spare clothes, swim suits , and shoes for each grandkid

My mom and grandmother live near each other. I’m two hours away. My mom has nothing. My 86yo grandmother bought a pack n play, highchair, diapers and toys. Guess where we stay?

Not to mention, my baby is in a stage where he hates being put down in my three year year-old is very slow to warm-up. How these neccesities are all going to get in the house is beyond me. 😂

Both my parents and my in laws have cribs, high chairs, blackout curtains, changing pads… everything we need for our two kids when we visit. Even crates for our dog! I feel so lucky

So true. We have to bring our house to keep our kids safe and comfortable. Like we need to make grandparents’ houses more kid friendly. We try to bring a small amount but it’s impossible…lol

My daughter has no grandparents. I’d pack that car 1000 times to be able to go visit our dead parents. You’ll miss those visits one day.

It’s a cultural thing.My mom always had a playpen, a booster seat or phone books,a sheet/blanket to throw on the floor-she wasn’t a gm yet, but lots of extended fam nearby. We ate whatever was offered

My parents have everything! Crib, high chair, they make sure to have formula and cereal. They have bottles and diapers. The bought a video monitor and his exact sound machine/ night light. The best!!!

I have 3 grands, when my daughter comes over she doesn’t need to bring anything! I have diapers, change of clothes, high chair, baby gates and always have food for them!

I don’t have to bring anything to my parents house for my kids they have it all including snack clothes swimsuits all of it! I don’t understand why all grandparents don’t have all that stuff.
