How does what she enjoys really hurt you?” I’d genuinely love to talk about this. In my opinion critiquing a pattern of behavior isn’t the same as attacking a person. Not every form of criticism is hate: sometimes it’s an attempt to reflect, to question, or to raise awareness (especially when we’re talking about overconsumption and its environmental and social impact). At the same time, hostility online never helps. So here’s my question for you: is every critique automatically “hate”? Or can it sometimes be an invitation to think differently?
