@iceman_fox1: U.S. intercepts Russian and Chinese bombers off coast of Alaska.   Russian and Chinese warplanes were intercepted off the coast of Alaska by U.S. fighters Wednesday, marking the first time strategic bombers from Russia and China have operated together near North America, a U.S. official said. Two Russian Tu-95 bombers and two Chinese Xian H-6 planes flew over the waters of the Chukchi and Bering seas, with Russian fighter jets guiding them, the Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday in a statement.
