I believe that yellowing teeth happen because the enamel thins as we age and the dentin (which isn’t white) is more visible.

They didn’t it work for me ? Using purple toothpaste and that works much better and is cheaper

the yellow is due to the dentine made under the enamel which is made over a lifetime, dentine is yellow so shows through the enamel.
