@arcaneandwild: For those wondering about the wildlife in the #jasperfire ... know this. The forest and its residents are intrinsically connected. Animals are smart and intuitive. Most likely they fled long before the town of Jasper got everybody out. The animals know what to do, they know where to go. They will still be there/come back when the park rebuilds. Let's just hope that the young ones were able to get out with their moms. Have you ever watched elk cross a raging river with their young? It's truly fascinating as they work together to create small eddies with their own bodies for the young to swim in so they dont get swept by the current. They are smart and know how to navigate chaos in this world better than we do. Not all of them would have made it out, especially the little ones... but there is still hope for the wildlife. Have faith my fellow animal lovers and activists 💚 the wildlife will be ok too.
