Palestinian captive Ibrahim Mohammad Khaleel Al-Shaweesh, a resident of Beit Hanoun, North Gaza, was freed today after a year in Israeli captivity. He was abducted from a displacement shelter in northern Gaza on December 10, 2023, and initially detained in border barracks where he endured extreme torture. For 45 days, he was blindfolded, shackled, and forced to kneel, before being transferred to Naqab (Negev) prison, where he suffered electric shocks and attacks by dogs.
