I think you’ll surprise yourself with how okay you’d be with the pronunciation if you tried! Vowel sounds are v similar to Italian and Spanish, and @Turanga Morgan-Edmonds has a great tutorial on it💛

For some context, we call it Tchop because we are lazy… Tchops > Tchopo. Same as « How are you » = « E aha to 'oe huru » > Ha tchuru. Real pronounciation is Teahupo’o and Hawa’i as the locals say it.
