No lower case T is crossed at the top. Taught penmanship 45 years and learned cursive in 1965. I know some things change but there are certain ways most effective to form standard letters.

No it’s because younger teachers were not taught penmanship and were not held accountable to write neat! It’s a skill we lost. Taught for 30 years
