i study both, i would argue everything in stem has its roots in philosophy. from logic to proof to epistemology to empiricism and rationalism… these are the building blocks on which « stem » is built

My dad is an engineer but in our home country he HAD to take humanities for his degree. Now in Canada as a senior employee he is constantly sending reports back because engineers cannot write at all

I’m an engineering major and I whole heartedly agree, I do think there are possible financial aspects that can come into being an art major but that’s a decision everyone needs to make for themselves
