💯. At 23 I married a great man they didn’t approve of but it was the best decision I ever made. Now that I’m in my 30s they love him and regret that they were not supportive to begin with.

I dealt with this a lot in late teens/early 20s. Eventually you will just live your life on your terms and they will have to accept it. It is hard at first though!
