@bitingbatcollection: I can tell you how many people doubted my ability to create because I am legally blind. When I was first learning how to create the necklaces I do sooo many people in my life didn't think I was capable of reaching the point that I am at now. I remember every single one of the people that believed in me from day 1. I know it kind of sounds crazy, The Blind Jeweler (also sounds really fockin cool 🫨) but that's my reality. It's an obstacle yes but it's also a way for me to interact with the world around me a lot differently than I would if I could see. So much of jewelry crafting is more than just seeing the pieces you're working on, it's FEELING them. I can reach out to the beads on my desk and feel the infinite possibilities that can be created from just 1 set of beads. It's incredible and exhilarating.
