Could it be the immobiliser chip in the key or in the barrel not sure how you would check that though

A car will still start without pressing down the clutch no matter what year the car is I don’t have to push my clutch down on my car to start it 😂😂

Some cars hate having faults so you might need to clear the faults or if not check spark plugs because I don’t hear it trying to turn over or could be faulty coil pack.

tbh it's ment to be a safety feature in all vehicles etc after 2010 but usually it would tell you on the dash when you don't press it
