About the food…I approached it waaay different than my parents did. Instead of threatening them to “finish everything” on their plate I encouraged them to try new things & if they truly didn’t like it

my aunt (step mom) told my little cousin who was under ten he wasn't leaving the table till his food was finished. he sat there for hours to the point he fell asleep and his bad had to take him to bed
