parents also seem to forget how nosy/curious kids really are. my wife has one picture of me in her office, and on her phone. the kids still ask, whether she's "loud" about her queerness or not

I’m masc androgyne and my students always ask if I’m a boy or a girl. I always respond with “what do you think?” And whatever they say, I just say, “ok”.

Every single open house I’ve been to as a parent, the teachers first thing on the paper they give me is about their family. Every one. Its not a crime to share a bit about who you are.

and as a long time childcare worker/nanny its soo common for kids to ask questions ab ur family/personal life!! lol ive had kids ask me if i have a mom and then ask to see pictures🤣🫶🏻
