Awesome, means she was stable and not at risk of dying. Hope she feels better soon. I’ve had similar waits but never had to wait on the multiple times I’ve been close to losing my heart beat.

They triage based on priority, so it’s actually a good thing they aren’t seeing her first. It means they don’t think she’s dying. Hope she feels better ❤️

Every ER in Canada works on a triage system. She was likely lower on the list but she was still seen to as she has an IV, which is likely fluids and medications.

The ER is for life or limb situations (if you're going to die or lose a limb) most people confuse urgent care for emergency care and increase the wait times for the others around them.....

Same thing happened to me, I was throwing up every 10 minutes for 6 hours and they sent me home in that state after giving me IV fluids, I thought I was going to die

Checked in to emerge at 1pm, seen at midnight. Ruptured fallopian tube d/t ectopic pregnancy, internal bleed. Had emergency surgery next AM. No bill though, so there's that! 😬

I got sent home because they said I was fine.. woke up in the middle of the night and my appendix burst and I was going septic.. the surgeon yelled at the doctor right infront of us.. #freehealthcare

You don't want to be first. Being early in a triage was the worst experience in my life, I'd rather wait 100 hours than be first at the hospital again. Going quick means your life is on the line.

Yall neglecting the fact that Canada has some of the longest wait times in the world (22hrs for ER) America is at 2 hours and 25min for same service.

My mom was in the ER for 11 hours before any pain meds or being seen. She had a gallstone bladder and needed emergency surgery 😑 Triage is wild
