I’ve had mine for months and it’s even traveled halfway across the states. She’s still doing great! Best advice is feed her for a couple days before baking

I gave my sister one 2 years ago. It sat in the fridge until a few weeks ago. I was able to revitalize it and turned out awesome.

no matter how many times I try I can't get a starter to work out. tried making my own and buying one diff flours waters ratios everything and it always fails

The last time I tried to make a new starter on the third day the smell was unreal. Like baby vomit. Did I do something wrong or is that normal and I should keep going?
