Remember his name, tell his story 🇵🇸 Ahmad Manasra is a 13 years old Palestinian child, accused of stabbing an Israeli settler along with his cousin back in 2015. They shot him along with his cousin and unfortunately his cousin died infront of him. Ahmad was left to bleed on the ground and was ran over by a vehicle causing head injuries, while settlers were surrounding his body swearing and calling him horrible names (footage released ). Ahmad has been held since the age of 13 for crimes he didn’t commit by the Israeli occupation.Now at the of 21, Ahmad Manasra is still being denied his freedom, and continues to suffer as his health deteriorates in the occupation cells. He endured severe torture both physically and psychologically along with harsh interrogations that no child should experience. Ahmad was examined by a medical team which insisted for the need of immediate treatment. They concluded that Ahmad is suffering from severe chronic mental illnesses including early signs of schizophrenia and vision loss due to sunlight blockage in his solitary confinement. Despite this, they insisted on detaining, isolating and declining his treatment. He’s not allowed to see anyone and suffers from medical issues due to poor diet. Ahmad Manasra spent two years in solitary confinement since October 2022. The Israeli Prison Service, has requested an extension of Ahmad's isolation for another six months, which breaches international law. Ahmad is not alone, there are thousands of Palestinians held in their prisons. They can literally invade any house and arrest anyone whether it’s a child ,man, woman or elderly and they’ve been doing this for years while the world is blind. Ahmad’s hope and dreams have been shattered by the occupation imprisonment.
