Kimchi japche w/ rice recipe ⬇️ … Spicy sauce: 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup water 2 tbsp oyster sauce 1/2 - 1 tbsp sugar (I used 1/2) 1 tbsp minced garlic 2 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) 1 can tuna (drained water) 1 cup kimchi (I used Jongga sliced cabbage kimchi) 100g vermicelle noodles (about a fistfull of noodles) Veggies: Carrots, zuchinni, and onion Cooking oil (I used graza oil) 1. Slice the vegetables—use about 1/4 of an onion, a small squash, and a few carrots—and set them aside. 2. Bring water to a boil in a medium-sized pot. 3. While the water is heating up, prepare the spicy sauce and set it aside. 4. Once the water boils, add the dried noodles and cook them according to the package instructions (I boiled mine for 6 minutes). 5. Drain the noodles and rinse them under cold water until fully cooled. 6. Drizzle a bit of sesame oil over the noodles and toss lightly. Set them aside. 7. Heat some cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. 8. Add the drained tuna and kimchi, sautéing for about 2 minutes. 9. Add the sliced vegetables and continue sautéing for another 2-3 minutes until slightly softened. 10. Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour in the spicy sauce, stirring to combine. 11. Add the noodles and toss everything together until well mixed. 12. Serve with a side of rice and/or a fried egg for extra flavor. #koreanfood #japchae #kimch #vermicelli
