@jenniferdenee: Without him, I would NOT have ever been able to be ok with walking away from that man. I thought it was the Godly thing to do. He loved him until he was able to love me back. But then I saw the truth, then another one, then another one, and it took 6 years to finally see that this man had NO INTENTIONS of ever being what I needed. I dealt with so much ALONE. but when he needed a friend or just a hug, I was always there. He will always remember me as "The one who got away," no matter how peaceful this ended. Because I loved him until I died. God brought me back the moment I made the decision to walk away and stuck with it. I spoke to him for months and asked "Show Me then Heal Me" and he did just that.
