I'll take it a step further. My company policy is no L&S on the highway unless there's heavy traffic. Imagine flying past people and then just shutting down on an on ramp.

Nah I get embarrassed too lol. I also get embarrassed when we have a helicopter on air standby and have to cancel them cuz the notes were just dramatic af lol

used to but not anymore! the best is getting canceled, shutting them off, then immediately getting tagged to another emergent call just to turn them back on.

We respond until the call codes alpha. 😬 But when I get canceled I always try to turn off the road I’m on make it look like I’m close to where I’m supposed to be 😅 and I wait a good little (5ish mins) before I post up or go do other stuff like get food or go to the gas station 😂 the paranoia of being perceived wrong kills me

I always turn down a side road or do it where nobody is around. It's bad enough if you turn around and meet all the people you just flew past.
