The best decision I made in my life was not listening to anybody when I met my husband years back. As a single girl back then I witnessed a lot of people falling in and out of relationships and marriage and I was scared to start any relationship with anyone but then I met my husband I felt that connection instantly with him, his looks, his maturity, his personality, his vision, his values of life and many more. But most importantly his heart after God. A lot of people were advising me not to engage myself with him because he can only use me and leave me, but I was absolutely stubborn to all advisers. Then I met one lady in my church who has dated and married a Nigerian man and the man used her and left her. She told me her horrible experience and advise me not to take this step. I started having double mind and doubts about engaging myself with my him then. Even my own parents wasn’t encouraging me to take that step because of the bad experience our church member had with her Nigerian husband, which i totally understand. Of course no parents will want their daughter to be hurt. But I stubbornly refused all advice and followed my heart and today that is the best decision I have ever made in my life ❤️ I don’t discriminate any tribe, so I wouldn’t tell you to go for a specific tribe but I LOVE me my Igbo husband ❤️ And guess what” when my parents get to know my husband then they fall In love and accept him wholeheartedly and today they are besties 😍 The Story how I met my husband, the challenges we went through is a whole lot of book to be told and read🤣 But I will stop here and someday we will tell the story in full.
