one thing that might help with this (and would help me as a customer!) is including the hip measurements for different styles/sizes ! like if a 30 waist only has a 32 hip then its harder for afab ppl

i mean sure, but women usually have wider hips, thighs and smaller waists. if you don’t have different style options for those measurements, then your pants are made for predominantly men.

There’s a big gap in the market for apple shape people (think an apple with 4 cocktail sticks) I have a round tummy but narrow hips and skinny legs and need stretch denim

the waist isn't the issue for a lot of women it's the hips. hip to waist ratio can make or break fit.

okay but size chart aside what about the crotch curve? even if I fit the men's sizes I find I wind up with a weird bulge at my crotch due to the difference in curvature?
