My breeder is listed second on my dogs microchip. Literally the only way my dog could end up in a shelter is if the shelter is unethical and does not contact the people on the microchip…

our breeder made us sign a contract if we surrender he goes back to them. We aren't surrendering, he's ours for life. 🥰 We were going to adopt from a shelter, but the adoption process sucks.

Yes! My mom got a presa canario from an ethical breeder and the contract stated if she could not long keep the dog that she had to give it back to the breeder

I breed GSD as well. I keep up with all the dogs that leave here. I always tell the people purchasing a dog if something ever happens bring them back. Good job. This a nice setup!

I always tell my puppy buyers that I don’t care how old the dog is, if something changes, I want the dog to come back to me. No shelters. No rescues.

the best breeding system I've seen is the guardian one. she adopts out the mommas and daddies as pets and when they retire they are spayed/neutered and live their lives with their families
