Affordable is the key. There are a ton of new homes for sale in Northwest Houston where I live thousands and thousands. But the shacks start around $350,000.

Agree but the Domino effect will reach everywhere. Tennessee, corps have moved in bought acres upon acres and buikd, but only for rent and lease.

I think the climate changes a factor as well. The interest rates haven’t gone down really much yet and it’s hard to get insurance. My brother is being forced to get FEMA insurance now
