@templetontravels: Has this ever happened to you? We’ve been on so many trains that don’t have seat reservations at all so we honestly didnt think twice about it! Generally when you book a train ticket you pick your seats at that time if it’s an option so we just assumed it would be all open seating. We were very lucky to get to sit down and thankfully most of those that were stuck standing with us in the beginning had earlier stops or were eventually able to find a seat in another coach.
