@mamawgailcooks: Replying to @T a y ❤️‍🔥 My Chocolate Gravy Recipe 🍫🍽️ Ingredients: • 2 cups sugar • 3 heaping tablespoons Martha White self-rising flour • 1 heaping tablespoon cocoa powder • Dash of salt • Water (approx. 3-4 cups) • 1 tablespoon butter (optional) Instructions: Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium cooker, thoroughly mix sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Combine with Water: Fill the saucepan halfway with water (about 3-4 cups). Cook: Place the saucepan on the stove over high heat. Stir constantly until the mixture becomes hot (not boiling). Adjust Heat: Once hot, reduce the heat to medium. Continue to stir constantly as the gravy comes to a boil. Let it boil for about 2 minutes or until the gravy reaches your desired thickness. You should be able to feel the thickness with the spoon as you stir. Finish and Serve: Remove the saucepan from the heat. If desired put 1 tablespoon of butter in your bowl pour the gravy and serve with biscuits! Enjoy your chocolate gravy!
