not only swedish, i think this is very widely used mixer in All of nordics. maybe in baltics aswell, but not sure.

The two knob system is common in Europe. With the temperature control it prevent you being burned as the boiler is 60’C

In most Swedish showers, the switch on the temperature knob limits the maximum temperature unless you hold the switch as you turn the knob past the limit.

It’s really not that bad,or too many knobs. I’ve seen some American showers that were more complicated.I’ve been living in the USA for 8yrs&stayed in many many places&theyR almost all different 🤦♀️
