@chasing.sage: How many board transfers did you count!? I’m seriously so blown away by this! Last year I set up all three balance boards we have in a line and she was able to successfully do two board transfers before running out of boards and it didn’t occurred to me to use this method to keep it going. Yesterday she combined 3:29 seconds of balancing with 11 board transfers and it only came to an end because she ran out of space! Having to continuously balance while the next board and sometimes rug were being repositioned definitely added more time and difficulty! And yes I was trying also but I’ll share those results in a later video…😬 I should point out this is not any sort of ‘training’ in our eyes. While there are undoubtedly benifits to excersizes like this, we see it as a form of play, a way to pass the time and have some fun and move our bodies while the air quality outside is unhealthy due to local wildfires. She LOVES a challenge so a small prompt like “how many board transfers do you think you can do?” and she becomes very excited to figure out what the answer is.
