@realkevinjjohnston: we were driving home along the Panamanian Highway when we saw what we thought was a dead cat until I saw something move very slowly and I parked at the driver telling him do not hit the sloth! we jumped out of the car and decided to give the little guy a hand getting off the road and back into the woods. this is the first time I have seen a sloth in the wild. I'm kind of floored how slow they are but it was certainly an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. you should come to Panama and see these great things for yourself. #panama #sloth
