Got my govt job at 23 & I’ve been here for the last 16 years. Def highs & lows BUT that check & health insurance is consistent paying for travel & mortgage. 😆😆😆

My husband works for the state. He makes six figures, has 8 weeks paid vacation + every fed and state holiday off. I get to be a SAHM. He has a pension and will retire at 55. Never been so thankful he has the job he does!

My dad instilled in our whole family government job government job. During Covid we worked and thankfully missed no paydays. After 15 years medical for life.

As a government employee. YES. May not be exciting but it's decent pay for easy work, dependable, holidays & weekends off, depending on the type of student loan debt after 10 yrs it will be forgiven,

As someone who is employed by LA county , the only complaint I have is the pay can be better. But the benefits and work life balance is amazing.

My aunt retired during the pandemic & is living her BEST life. Always traveling, is a the best grandma, and is filled with so much life and love. She’s my inspiration. I’m def going to do this!

I work in higher ed, I get a teachers retirement pension & just opened a 457b and I qualify for PSLF!! It has its flaws but the benefits are awesome
