@lizmarieblog: We live in an 1800’s farmhouse that is currently tore up due to renovations so a way I have been combatting the construction blues is creating cozy corners because when the whole house can’t look good, at least some corners can & those corners can become tiny havens that motivate us, comfort us, & help us while living in a construction zone. We chose all of this, but that doesn’t mean it makes it less difficult to live in unfinished spaces that are torn up & waiting for us to get to them, especially when you are motivated by aesthetically pleasing spaces. I am so grateful for this community here because you motivate me every single day in some way. Messages about wanting to see more cozy corners has inspired me to not wait to make progress in a room, but to truly make it cozy with what I have in the moment to share with you to hopefully share some ideas & inspo that maybe you are needing to. Today I played around with some of my weekend antique finds in this corner of the living room that is across from the last wall we styled together. This is my apothecary cabinet that holds so many of my unique finds from around the world & all of our adventures. Want to see more of the cabinet? Let me know below!! Does this help you to see? Do you want to see more? What is your biggest struggle currently with creating your own cozy? I would love to help… #cozycottagefarmhouse #cozyhome #cozycottage
