I have 5 kids! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to pack up all the kids just to run down the street and get a gallon of milk or something. It’s a hassle but no excuse for leaving them alone!

GEN X here, I was left in the car in a parking lot alone when I was under 5 because my mom didn’t want me in the mall with her. I also was left at the grocery store by my mom. I survived.
