If it sounds pleasant and doesn't sound like an obnoxious alarm, my brain incorporates it into my dreams and i end up not waking up on time. So yeah I'd be hating on the world every time i wake up.

Here in defense of sunrise alarm clocks. Waking up to light is game changing. And I feel like having your alarm on your phone kind of starts you off wanting to get on your phone first thing in the morning.
