I taught my son to not say “it’s okay” and to reply “i accept your apology” when someones mean because hurting someone’s feelings isn’t okay…and it SHOOK my moms WORLD. Lol. Breaking gen. patterns 💕

I have to remember that since kids don’t usually sit in the front seat they may not know that there is a noise ( a terrible, awful noise) so I always tell them that there is a noise that the back window

The repair is so important not only for the now but because it teaches our kids no one is perfect, and shows them how to course correct when they inevitably make a mistake too. We’re all human here 😅

I’ve always had this opinion.. my kids are 25, 23, and 17. I take ownership of my emotions, quick to apologize, and let them see I am imperfect. Because my job is to teach them to be an adult human.
