my aunt had chemo and radiation on her brain tumor back in the 80s. it came back so much worse 20 years ago until she passed in her 50s.

"Cancer cells are really bad at repairing their own DNA" I thought it was more that cells actively dividing are more susceptible to damage from, say, radiation. Is it both? Am I misunderstanding?

My dad had lymphoma twice and did a lot of radiation, then 20 years later was diagnosed with a sarcoma they said was caused by the radiation. So to treat it they did more radiation. 🙃

Ya this a point I find it hard to explain to people. You can't say something caused cancer. There's no way to source a cancer. You can only guess based on the variables you're aware of.
