Luke’s new mane cut! After yesterday’s video a few of you seem to be crushing on Luke right now with his new mane style 😉 so here he is featured! King Luke is very elusive, he doesn’t like humans and generally doesn’t come close enough for me to film him very often. There are some lions who don’t want camera attention and I respect that & leave them be. This is the reason you guys probably haven’t seen much of Luke on our social media. Luke’s mane recently got a bit scraggly and a new one started growing through beautifully in time for winter 😉 this doesn’t happen often but has happened before to Boy & Shalom. Luke has a pride of 3 lionesses who are all quite feisty females ( it was 4 until Zebrina passed away 😥) As King, it is one of his jobs to keep the lionesses from fighting with each other and keep them in line ( yes - a totally outdated notion in our human world 🙄) but it’s his natural role to keep his pride in harmony in his animal Kingdom. He does a good job of this and steps in to break up fights when he has to. His females are Nandi, Angel of Fire and Zandela. Luke’s pride ❤️‍🔥
