This charming Italian panini shop offers a delightful escape to Italy, inspired by Roman-style pizza while avoiding the classic Neapolitan pizza, which often ends up soggy inside. The shop also boasts a lovely coffee bar operated by ily, renowned for serving exceptional Italian coffee. They offer $2 espressos and a delectable caffe crema machine that is simply delicious. Here’s an overview of what we enjoyed: ❤️ Supplì: Similar to arancini but made with pasta. My favorite was the osso buco, although the cacio e pepe flavor lacked the same depth. 🎀 Mortadella: Absolutely delicious with a super crispy base. You can’t go wrong with a ball of burrata on top, and the pistachio pesto on this pizza was the chef’s kiss. 🔥 Hot Salami: Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. A truly delicious pizza with no faults. Try adding the Bippi chilli oil if you’re feeling adventurous. 🩷 Chicken Cotolette: Probably my least favourite. It could benefit from being freshly assembled. The chilli oil on the table definitely helped to elevate it, but it needed a little something extra.
