THREE CRIMINALS NEVER WOKE UP EXPECTING A DAY LIKE THIS 4th October 2024 Mobi-Claw911 management were called to a meeting at a local Westville sports club yesterday following a vehicle being stolen from their premises earlier that day. The meeting to discuss preventative security measures. Our operations director left early to attend another meeting, while walking to his car he noticed another car parked right next to his in an almost empty parking lot which was strange, he then notices that his car door was open and that someone was busy in his car. The four suspects noticed him approaching, they got back into their car and they drove off. Our Ops Director immediately got into his car and followed them, a high-speed chase ensued onto the M13 highway and into Pinetown. Now, watch the video which will show you how this resulted in two incredibly good arrests. The vehicle was searched and implements used in vehicle thefts were recovered in the car. Not a clever idea to try steal one of our vehicles, it won’t end well for you. A joint search by various security companies, SAPS and volunteers for the outstanding suspects followed without success, we are confident that information will lead to further arrests. Well done to our brave Ops Director Wynand, absolutely outstanding. Thank you to SAPS, A-Force Security and volunteer responders for their assistance. SAPS IR 13226 That wasn’t the end of the excitement, while at the police station we received a call of another vehicle that had just been stolen from the sports club, the vehicle owner reported the theft to Tracker Connect as the car was fitted with their tracking device, we reported it to SAPS and circulated the vehicle to our responder network. Not long after we received a report that the vehicle had been recovered and that one suspect had been killed in the process and a firearm seized. Involved in this recovery were SAPS, Durban Metro Police, Fidelity Security and ET Security, outstanding work by all involved.
