@thebreakingnewsreporter: After speaking with residents and video received by those who were at the scene when Fire rescue and Deputies were pulling up.🚨 I was told kids were on a small boat fishing and somehow they fell off, a father jumped and drowned trying to save the kids. Now keep in mind that this is still under investigation and we don't have a real update. Near 8 pm Tuesday night North Lauderdale fire rescue, an air ambulance helicopter with Broward Sheriff deputies responded to the scene, of reports of a dead body found behind a home in a canal with a small boat seen on video. Later a crime scene form, a medical examiner and body pickers, and crime scene van all came out to investigate.
